A song writing duo, 'Lucas and Barnett', are let go from their jobs at 'The Blue Notes Publishing Company', because they hadn't had a hit in two years. Barnett does a disguise and acts as a foreign song producer and listens to all of the company's songs. He chooses the one written by 'Lucas and Barnett' and they are hired back when they later return.
